North Cowichan – About six days after the recent windstorm that swept through the Valley, I phoned Ryan at the CVRD Parks Department to alert him to the fact that a tree had come down over the Trans Canada/Cowichan Valley Trail near the Bings Creek footbridge.
With the amount of branches down on the ground all over, I did not expect him to get to my request for some time. Surprise! The tree was cleared the next day. And the trail to the bridge was blown of all the smaller twigs and leaves! A BIG thank you, Ryan, and to your crew!
(P.S. There are some terrific trails around here, both in the CVRD and the municipality to enjoy.)
