Pot illegal, plain and simple
You suggest that “Pot shops more like civil bisobedience” and further state, “It certainly seems more desirable to have folks be able to come to a reputable, public storefront than have to darken back alleys to buy from sinister dealers”.
Selling pot is illegal, plain and simple, and how on earth do you know for sure that the operators of these illegal pot shops are not the former “sinister dealers” that once darkened the back alleys?
Shame on you newspaper for not condemning illegal and criminal acts in our area.
