Protecting the environment is about our own survival

There are only two kinds of life on earth, plant and animal, and to survive they need a symbiotic relationship.

Now humans are in a big political argument about which is most important, the environment or the human-created economical system. How collectively stupid are we, as our life depends on the environment as we are animals too?

Whether in the financial top end and worried about hording more gold for their coffers or a bottom wage earner worried about enough in wages to exist; both must put the environment first or promote human extinction.
