Protest and election signs creating waste

I am a firm believer in speaking out about global warming and the impact we face.

However, I find it hypocritical and disappointing that some do not look at what they are doing.

Take for example the youth protests. They carry signs and balloons. They are using resources like trees and promoting the use of chemicals to produce balloons. And then there are the protests on bridges. Do they realized that a miles-long chain of cars sitting at idle send all that carbon into the air?

All the political parties got on the bandwagon about saving the planet and doing everything to help.

Shame on them. Think of the waste they produce with all their election signs. The wood, the paper and all the materials needed to put up a sign. I have one question. Who votes for a politician because they saw a sign? If they do, then they are not informed.

I would like to make a suggestion. Stop putting up signs and use the money to support food banks and other worthy causes.

Are you listening Green Party?
