Seven-year-olds know about dinosaurs and fossils. When you ask your Sunday school teacher about fossils and dinosaurs you get a very unsatisfactory explanation that defies logic and science.
Schools don’t teach religion at all. They talk about the history of our region and its cultural traditions.
It does not endorse those teachings or call them the history of the earth.
In regards to your claims about freedom of speech and freedom of religion, we are also entitled to a freedom from religion. Keep your 1,600 year old book out of school please.
Lastly, Christmas is not a 2,000-year-old tradition. The pagan celebration of Yule is thousands of years old. The celebration of the birth of Jesus is much younger, as there is no real record of his birth anywhere.
