Stand up for your beliefs

Hear, hear, I say, to Mitch Russell (“God never intended for rainbows to mark up our city crosswalks”, Citizen, June 16). Issue spoke about the Creator and His rainbow, not ours. I could not have said it any better myself and it was well worded. Anyone taking offence to your letter would have to “make” it an offence to suit “their” philosophy.

As a word of encouragement to anyone out there who may feel as an underdog, remember this. You don’t have to be an intellectual to be wise. Wisdom begins with the fear of God and in survival mode, I would rather have wisdom than a whole lot of knowledge and not know what to do with it! As the Bible says “Who is man that you (God) consider him?”

Stand up for your beliefs!
