Thanks to superstar paper delivery person Byron

I have been intending to do this for some time — and now it’s time!

We live on Thomson Terrace, in The Properties, off Maple Bay Road. Byron has been delivering the Citizen to us for a few years now (a long time anyway!) and he is an amazing guy! NEVER, through sleet/hail/rain/snow, and SNOW!, has Byron failed to deliver our paper, not only climbing our steep driveway (unheard of “before Byron!”) but Byron makes sure it is on our front step, behind a planter so that wind/rain/snow can’t reach it. Yesterday, with the heavy snow and wind I really didn’t expect to receive the paper at all. But I opened the door to head out with the snow shovel again (!) lo and behold! There was our paper on the step, snugged against the door, away from the wind and snow!

We haven’t been able to leave the subdivision (until, briefly, yesterday!) but Byron obviously went through a lot to make sure the Citizen was delivered to everyone!

I catch him the odd time, delivering the paper and always thank him profusely and he always stops to chat (for a few minutes), then back to work!

I remember him at Xmas, but feel it just isn’t enough! So will do more, but I just wanted to let you know what a treasure you have working for you! I hope he is paid accordingly as he is worth every cent. “Before Byron”, the Citizen delivery was haphazard at best/NO delivery at worst, and always thrown at the bottom of the driveway. The driveway is quite steep, not a fun ascent.
