The Lame Duck, the Liar and the Buffoon

I must express my extreme disappointment with your editorial comments in the Jan. 25 edition.

I must express my extreme disappointment with your editorial comments in the Jan. 25 edition.

The current president was elected by a large majority, by a system that has been in place for over 200 years. The American people have spoken, much to the chagrin of the media who were outrageously biased in favour of the number one candidate. First it was the recount, then the attempts to influence the electoral college, finally the Russians hacked the election. All false attempts at manipulation.

You speak of manipulation of facts. Where were you with a past president that has been at war every day for the past eight years and has destabilized many countries that may have been unfriendly to its agendas? These acts of war have led to the creation of the terrorist and refugee problems that exist today. Not a peep out of you.

Again, where were you when the losing candidate’s two-faced nature of talking of equality and fairness and at the same time taking millions from countries that treat woman worse than cattle and kill gays. Let us not forget this candidate’s role as secretary of state, whose signature approved every military action and arms sale that has occurred since her taking office in this capacity. Again not a peep out of you.

You really should be ashamed of yourself having been led down the garden path with the rest of the sheep.

Now, I don’t agree with all that the new president is attempting to do, nor in the way in which he is attempting to do it, hence the title to my letter.
