Trump’s tower of lies finally collapsed
Four years ago after Donald Trump won the election, I wrote a letter to the editor of the Citizen, including a famous quote from the 1930s from Hitlers propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels: “If you want to win power, don’t try to talk to the intellectuals or the educated class. Talk to the uneducated people, the simple man in the street! Make up a lie! Make it a bold and big one! Repeat it over and over again until you believe it yourself! This concept will never fail!”
He was right. This concept is timeless and has worked for 2,000 years! That’s how you create a fascist society. Looks like Trump’s game plan has come full circle right now.
