VIMC should stop the propaganda

Today I went to my mailbox and was again assaulted by propaganda from the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit. For months I have remained quiet because I really don’t have an opinion about the operation of this facility, but what I can’t ignore are the tactics used to attempt to win favour. I am offended by the passive aggressive comments directed at long term residents of this community that are contained within the missives that land at my door.

I choose to live in this Valley because of its peacefulness and sense of community. I am opposed to a corporate entity that feels the need to undermine citizens of our Valley for ultimately, their own personal gain.

Feel free to carry on with the attempts to assuage legitimate concerns of our citizens, and the efforts to create an “us and them” mentality — but I for one am not buying it.

And, please stop cluttering our newpaper and homes with your expensive propaganda — clearly the playing field has never been level.
