We need counselling, life skills and work to stop addiction
Free needles and safe injection sites; are we not just enabling the cycle of addiction?
Would it not be better to put our tax dollars into treatment centres that allow individuals to get clean? Instead of free needles and safe injection sites, I propose centres that offer counselling, life skills and work.
Counselling would help the individual get to the root of their addiction, life skills to promote healthy lifestyles and work to give the person purpose. Let’s talk about that!
