We will miss reading Sarah’s column
I was distressed to read that Sarah Simpson will not be writing and reporting for the Cowichan Valley Citizen after the March 27 issue. She writes with humour, understanding and wisdom about everyday events — and non-events! We can all relate to her stories about life in the Cowichan Valley, parenting, neighbourliness…whatever piques her interest — and ours! Her columns are bright spots in our lives. We hope her absence from the Citizen will be both brief and temporary. In these dark days of social distancing and isolated living, we need every possible spark of joy.
