What are the plans for Shawnigan roads?
Wow, was I surprised, I got a call from Steve on Sunday afternoon. He said, “Hi this is Steve Housser calling”.
I thought wow, that is pretty good, he must have a lot of time to call each of us. So I asked him what his plans were for Renfrew Road, West Shawnigan and East Shawnigan Lake roads as they all took a beating from big trucks etc. But he just kept on talking. So I gave him some advice that those roads should be built to the same standard as the Shawnigan Lake Road exiting off the Malahat. I mean, it was built to handle all those big tandem dumps on their way to the contaminated site. But he just kept on talking.
I think it was a recording and not really Steve calling me, however on the upside he listened as well as any of the other Liberals did during the watershed challenge.
