Went to the Tom Cochrane concert Tuesday at Save on Centre and was greatly disappointed.
Why have these performers decided that loud is not enough and extremely grossly loud is
better?
Every piece at the concert was played at the level where your chest reverberated. It was painful. You could hardly hear the lyrics. It's very sad that these talented musicians feel that is the way to go.
Perhaps when attendance falls far enough they will get the message. The arena was less than half full and I'm betting it's because people don't want to get their eardrums blown just to hear a concert.
I for one will not be attending any more of these events when I can just download and listen at a reasonable volume.
