All-star goalie Sheldon George and two-way forward Nick Harder excelled for the Chargers at Duncan Christian School’s annual Invitational Ball Hockey Tournament last month, but the host team was once again in a tough spot at the hotly contested event.

The Chargers were held without a goal through their four round-robin games and missed the playoffs, but George kept them in every match.

DCS lost 1-0 to Langley Christian 1, 2-0 to Richmond Christian, 3-0 to Surrey Christian, and 1-0 to Langley Christian 2.

Surrey won the championship with a 5-0 victory over Langley 1, while Langley 2 beat Richmond 2-1 in a shootout to take bronze.
