Cowichan kids clean up at Labour Day hillclimb

Three Cowichan Valley girls posted personal bests at the Olympic Peninsula Motorcycle Club’s annual Labour Day Hill Climb in Port Angeles, Washington earlier this fall.

Lily Barry, in the 50cc class, placed second on Saturday and third on Sunday, climbing to 96 feet.

Jayden Barry, in the 85cc class, finished second on Saturday and first on Sunday, and in the 150cc modified class placed fourth on Saturday and second on Sunday, climbing to a height of 265 feet.

Cynthia Barry, also in the 150cc modified class, finished third on Saturday and fourth on Sunday, climbing to a height of 248 feet.
