A host of players with Cowichan Valley ties will be representing B.C. in the Las Vegas Sevens rugby tournament next month.
Several players who call the Valley home or who attend Shawnigan Lake or Brentwood College schools will be on the Team BC rosters for the tournament in Nevada on Feb. 12-15.
Vegas veteran George Barton will be joined by Aaron Hersant and Callahan McMaster on the U18 boys team, while Taylor De Souza and Kyle Joe will be on the U17 boys team, and William McDougall-Percillier is on the U16 boys roster.
The U18 girls lineup will include Denise Roy, Avi Sharabi, Ciel Arbour-Boehme and McKenna Haz.
