After winning Div. 2 of the Vancouver Island Soccer League in 2012/13 and reaching the quarterfinals of the Jackson Cup Island championship tournament in 2014, Cowichan United is getting ready for another year of men's soccer with tryouts beginning next week.
Tryouts will start on Aug. 5 and 7 on the lower Sherman Road soccer fields, running from 6:30-8:30 p.m. "We have a good core coming back from last year and are looking to fill some key spots," player-coach Neall Rowlings said.
