Vancouver Island's junior A lacrosse teams will rekindle their rivalry on Wednesday night as they open the exhibition season at Fuller Lake Arena.
The Nanaimo Timbermen and Victoria Shamrocks will look to make an impression on their coaches and on each other when they face off at 7 p.m. Cowichan Valley lacrosse products who might make appearances in the tilt include McLean Chicquen and Derek Lecky for Victoria, and Nathan Clark, Adam Golia, and Jeremy Roe for Nanaimo. Former Cowichan Valley Capitals defenceman Karver Everson is also on the Shamrocks roster. Admission is $5. Kids under 12 and players in CVLA jerseys get in free.
