The Islanders swept their way through round-robin play and the semifinals before falling to the host team in the final.

Next up, the Islanders downed Richmond A1 7-2. Haarsma, Dallin Foreman, Liam Bell, Kristian Anderson, Aslan LaCouvee, Deklon Shadlock and Xander Assaly had goals, while Bitter and Bell each had two helpers, and McKay, Mason Shadlock and Billy Ramwell had one apiece. Tyson Duffe earned the win in net, and Mason Shadlock was picked as game MVP.

The Islanders wrapped up first place in their pool with a 4-2 victory over Oceanside. Bell, Assaly, LaCouvee and Ethan Rogers scored, Mason Shadlock had two assists, and Assaly and Foreman had one each. Tupper returned to the crease, and LaCouvee was named MVP.

In the semifinal, game MVP Assaly and Bell each scored twice as Kerry Park knocked off Vancouver, who placed second in the other pool. Rogers rounded out the scoring, while Assaly, Haarsma, LaCouvee and Bittner had assists and Duffe picked up the win in net.

In the final, the Islanders were beaten 4-1 by the extremely fast and physical host team. Assaly had the lone goal, assisted by Bell, while goalie Tupper stood on his head to keep Kerry Park in the game. Bittner was named game MVP.

The midget Islanders are guided by head coach Tom Shadlock and assistants Dean Bruce, Mike Flynn and Ken Ramwell.
