Minor hockey celebrated with return of annual Lake Cowichan jamboree

A great time was had by all, all day long at the Lake Cowichan Minor Hockey Jamboree held at the Cowichan Lake Sports Arena on Jan. 21. Games began at 8 a.m. with the U9 March Meadows team, and wrapped up with the Alumni game at 7:10 p.m. with a break for the entire association participating in the skills event mid day.

The event celebrated 52 years of the Lake Cowichan District Minor Hockey Association and was the first jamboree back following the pandemic.
