Some of the best curlers on the island will be competing at Kerry Park curling club this Saturday, Oct. 22.

In a modified one day cashspiel with over $2,000 in prize money, eight teams will be playing with draw times at 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Several current B.C. Champions will be tuning their game for upcoming Canadian Championships in November and December.

Meanwhile, the new ice plant at the Glen Harper Curling Centre in North Cowichan has been installed and the 2022/23 season is a go.

What’s more, the B.C. U21 Curling Championships are being hosted at the Glen Harper Curling Centre Jan. 24-29. Volunteers are being accepted to help the club host that event.
