The Cowichan Valley Capitals’ annual Teddy Bear Toss will take place on Friday.

 

The Cowichan Valley Capitals’ annual Teddy Bear Toss will take place on Friday when the team hosts on the Wenatchee Wild at 7 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to bring a new or slightly used stuffed toy to the game to throw on the ice after the Caps score their first goal.

The toys will be collected and donated to local charities who will hand them out to families in need this holiday season.

The Caps will also be in action on Thursday when they take on the Trail Smoke Eaters at 2 p.m.
