The Cowichan Valley High School Bowling Program is looking for new participants in grades 8-12 for the 2016-17 season.

The program offers school-versus-school competition with teams of three — male, female or mixed — with an emphasis on sportsmanship and etiquette. Held after school on Mondays, it also provides bowlers with opportunities to earn post-secondary scholarships, and the chance to travel to tournaments across B.C. and potentially national championships.

The program begins on Monday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. at Duncan Lanes (2701 James St.).

Canadian Tenpin Federation registration is $30 for the year, and participants pay $9 per week for three games.

Contact coach Bob Linde at 250-715-1413 for more information.
