Looking for a place to take the children over the BC Day long weekend?

Try the BC Forest Discovery Centre. They’re offering three fun-filled Kids’ Days on July 30-31 and Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There’s musical entertainment and lots of other family fun including an imagination station, a scavenger hunt, draw prizes, unlimited steam train rides from 10:30 a.m. and a concession with cotton candy, a barbecue, and even mini donuts available.

This annual event is a family favourite.

“This event has been a popular tradition for several years now and we thought it was time to triple the fun, so we added a third day,” said Chris Gale, manager at the BC Forest Discovery Centre.

Tickets are $10 for adults/seniors/youth and $8 for children three to 18 years of age. Kids two and under get in for free. Hang onto those tickets, they’re good for all three days. This event is also included in centre memberships.
