Great weather draws big crowd out to enjoy the train and other fun at the centre

Thousands of visitors took advantage of the good weather and thronged the BC Forest Discovery Centre to enjoy the outdoor Halloween festivities and ride the train.

According to Centre manager Chris Gale, there were some 1,400 visitors and opening night and it just got better from then on.

Kids and their parents enjoyed fun all around the site, with daytime delights like singing pumpkis for the more sensitive children and a spooky train ride after dark for their older brothers and sisters, the whole event was a hit.
