An enthusiastic crowd gathered early at the BC Forest Discovery Centre Sunday, Sept. 20 for the 35th annual Terry Fox event.
Bikers, runners, walkers — participants were all ages: moms and dads pushing strollers, seniors with walkers and even wheelchairs, and toddlers holding onto parents' hands.
Everyone was there to honour Canada's legendary Terry Fox, whose example is still showing generations of Canadians that, with effort and fundraising, ways to combat cancer can be found.
