Gospel singer Maureen Haworth will bring her special kind of entertainment to the Cowichan Lake area in two shows at Youbou this month.
She's at Cassey's Coffee House at 10375 Youbou Rd. on Saturday,
Aug. 29, starting at 3 p.m. and again on Sunday, Aug. 30 at the Youbou community churchat 10648 Youbou Rd. starting at 2 p.m.
She's from the West Kootenay community of Grand Forks and has been getting plenty of notice lately because of her unique styling of southern/country gospel music.
There is no cover charge for either of Haworth's performances so if you're in the area, drop in for the show.
