Singers bring romance to Palm Court [photos]

Soprano Shadan Saul Guerrero and tenor Sunny Shams brought a touch of romance to the Cowichan Perfoming Arts Centre stage

Soprano Shadan Saul Guerrero and tenor Sunny Shams brought a touch of romance to the Cowichan Perfoming Arts Centre stage Sunday afternoon, Oct. 18 as they joined the Palm Court Light Orchestra for delightful afternoon concert.

It’s not often that Cowichan Valley music lovers get to hear opera solos live and the singers and musicians combined to present such favourites as O Mio Babbino Caro from Gianni Schicci and the Brindisi from La Traviata to complement the orchestra’s lush selections from the Palm Court era.
