It's a Farm Dance under the Stars.
Wow! Where, you ask? The event is scheduled for Providence Farm Saturday, June 20, from 6 p.m. to midnight.
Rain or shine. Held on the front lawn, in front of the beautiful old heritage building, this dance will feature live entertainment on the big stage by Benjamin Ziakin, the Doctor Bones Blues Project, the Hellkatz, Uncle Wiggly's Hot Shoes Blues Band, and Monte and the Belmonts in a tribute to Joe Cocker.
There are also great silent auction items and a 50/50 draw.
Burgers and pizza are available for purchase during the evening, as you are likely to work up an appetite dancing.
There's also an outdoor beer and wine garden.
Tickets are $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door. Get them from the Providence Farm General Store, Maria's office, Ten Old Books or Sports Traders in Duncan or buy them online from the providence. bc.ca website for the event.
