On May 2 at 8 p.m., the pub welcomes valley royalty Blue Moon Marquee fresh off their Juno win. Blue Moon Marquee’s A.W. Cardinal (vocals/guitar) and Jasmine Colette (Jasmine Ohlhauser) a.k.a. Badlands Jass (vocals/bass/drums) are well known for writing and performing original compositions influenced by anything that swings, jumps or grooves. Over the span of their musical career they have carved a path through blues, jazz, jump jive, folk, country, swing as well Indigenous soul with an authentic spirit. Tickets are $35. On May 4, enjoy a night of laugh out loud entertainment as actor and comedian Sophia Johnson steps to the stage at 8 p.m. Originally from New Zealand and now based out of Vancouver, Johnson has been seen in hit TV shows such as Netflix’s Ash vs the Evil Dead, CW’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Nancy Drew. Johnson has a history of evoking laughter and has performed at three New Zealand International comedy festivals, including her sold out show 50 Minutes plus Laughs. On top of other credits she has also appeared as a guest on TVNZ’s comedy news show The Project. To miss out on this show would be no laughing matter. Tickets are $25.

On May, 11 come down to the pub for a powerful and compelling stage performance by Sarah Smith and her band at 8 p.m.
This fierce Canadian singer-songwriter who spent years honing her stage craft as a member of proto-Punk band The Joys has spent the past 15 years touring relentlessly throughout Canada as a solo artist, while developing a deeply loyal fan base in key parts of the U.S. and Europe.
Smith has shared the stage with remarkable and respected Canadian talent such as Carole Pope, Sass Jordan, Joel Plaskett, Bif Naked, as well as International acts like Melissa Etheridge, Nancy Wilson and KT Tunstall, and has been honoured with more than 25 Canadian Independent industry awards to date. Steadily releasing new music over the past decade her 2023 album Come Together combines the sounds of Canadian Production by Mick Dalla-Vee (Randy Bachman) as well as European production by Pat Anthony (Usher).
Smith, who recently moved to Pender Island, is an advocate for mental health and well-being and uses it as a platform not only for her show and to share her own story, she also supports organizations such as Canadian Mental Health Association, Addictions Services of Thames Valley, and My Sister’s Place to name a few.

On May, 18 you can believe it will be a great night of entertainment with Vancouver’s indie electronic rock duo Trust This Mechanism with special guest Julien Lavoie. Trust This Mechanism has a history of captivating their audiences with their infectious melodies and explosive performances, and have had several sold-out shows in various Vancouver venues and have even collaborated with the Juno-nominated Yukon Blonde.
Singer-songwriter and guitarist Lavoie will be joining TTM with his wistful blend of bedroom pop, psychedelic rock, and jazz fusion. Lavoie’s much anticipated debut record Swan Dive incorporates all the stages of a break-up wrapped in dream-like musical atmosphere. Tickets for this show are $20.

On May 24, Augie Dawg’s ‘Let the Good Times Roll’ drives the good times home with their tribute to The Cars at 8 p.m.
‘Let the Good Times Roll’ sold out their last show and had hundreds of Cars fans singing along while shaking it up in Duncan City Square last summer for 39 Days of July. This tribute band consists of Matt Gladman on lead guitar, Steve Williams on bass, Warren du Mailo on drums, Christian La Roche on keyboards and Augie Dawg leading the charge on rhythm guitar and lead vocals. Enjoy this time warp of great musical memories for $20.

On May 25, let your hair down and get moving with Bijioux du Bayou who will be bringing the energetic sounds, and music stylings of zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans, Tex-Mex, Latin, reggae, country, rock, Canadianna, folk, ska, jazz, and pop to the Osborne Bay Pub stage at 8 p.m.
Bijioux du Bayou brings multiple instruments to their performance that include guitars, bass, drums, mando, ukes, scrubboards, and even the fiddle and accordion with set lists inspired by artists such as Paul Simon, Knopfler, Steve Earl, Buckwheat Zydeco, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Daniel Lanois, The Band, Stampeders and more. They will be joined by special musical guest John Regimbal from Deep Sea Gypsies. Tickets are $20.
