North Cowichan - Warning to anyone using the trails at Somenos Garry Oak Protected Area: on Sunday afternoon May 24, I was walking uphill in the forest when two large grey poodles were coming uphill behind me, not on leash, with the owner yelling "Come, Fraser".
The dog doesn't listen. Instead it bounded up the hill and bit me on my left hip, hard enough to hurt me through my clothes. I'm just very glad it wasn't my fingers. Dogs are supposed to be on leash in the protected area, not going around biting unsuspecting people.So beware of the grey poodle Fraser.He's nasty!Peggy L. Smith North Cowichan
