Rainbow arcs over duncan

Before the snow hit last weekend, the Cowichan Valley enjoyed some record-high temperatures at the end of November, with the thermometer climbing well into the teens.

This brought some days of rain, but also some days of mixed weather, resulting in this beautiful rainbow that wowed those out and about in downtown Duncan on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

This was the day that businesses and groups decorated trees in Duncan City Square for the Christmas kick-off, and while the weather seemed unseasonable at the time, the cold closed in for Friday's event, and snow fell Saturday.
