With their 100th birthdays coming up in April

Thousands of people took advantage of the dry, sunny day Wednesday to head out to the cenotaph in their Cowichan Valley communities to mark Remembrance Day.

The annual honouring of those who died while serving our country in war is a solemn occasion that reminds us of both the bravery displayed by our citizens and the terrible price paid in conflict.
