On Tuesday, Oct. 9, the three mayoral and 14 council candidates for North Cowichan will make their pitches at a forum organized by the Chemainus Residents Association at Chemainus Secondary School from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Oct. 10, residents of Area D (Cowichan Bay) can hear from their regional district candidates, Lori Iannidinardo and David Fast, at an event at Bench Elementary School on Cowichan Bay Road from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

For Duncan voters, the Downtown Duncan Business Improvement Area has stepped up and organized an all-candidates meeting for Wednesday, Oct. 10, starting at 7 p.m.
It will be held in the main lecture hall (Room 140) at Vancouver Island University’s Cowichan Campus in Duncan.
This one is open to the public.
