PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROPERTY DISPOSITION

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter that the City of Duncan proposes to provide a five-year option to purchase agreement to the Cowichan Public Art Gallery Society for the lot at 135 Kenneth Street (PID 006-690-912, Lot 3 Block 11 Section 17 Range 6 Quamichan District Plan 2070). The purchase price will be based on the fair market value at the time the option is exercised, as set by an appraisal at that time.

Anyonewhowishes to comment on the proposed disposition, prior to Council consideration at the meeting on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. may provide written comments to the Director of Corporate Services, at 200 Craig Street, Duncan, BC V9L 1W3 or by email to paige@duncan.ca by 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Written comments received after 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023, and before 4:00 pm on Monday, November 6, 2023, will be submitted for public record during the meeting.
