May 29, 1955 – April 19, 2019
With heavy hearts we are very sad to announce; Brent Robert Harrison, a longtime resident of the Cowichan Valley, suddenly passed away on April 19, 2019 at the age of 63, with his sister by his side while vacationing in Mexico.
Brent was born May 29, 1955 in Victoria, B.C.. He was a loving father, grandfather, caring brother, wonderful Uncle, fun cousin, and a good friend to all.
Brent’s lifetime occupation was a Faller. His hobbies were Modified Stock car racing, Hunting, Fishing, Baseball
and a love for Pickle-ball.
He is survived by his two sons Brock (Jen) Harrison, three beautiful granddaughters and a grandson on his way (Lake Cowichan). Son Brandon Harrison (Duncan), his brothers Craig (Andrew) Harrison (Cape Town, S.A.), Scott Harrison (Duncan), Morgan (Shellie) Harrison (Duncan), and his sister Elaine (nee) Harrison and her husband Shayne McGinn (Lake Cowichan). He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, an aunt, and his godfather uncle Bob.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Roger & Becky Cuche, and Arthur & Alice Harrison; his parents, Arthur & Helene Harrison, his brother Roger Harrison and his sister Lynda.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1 pm, Sunday, May 19th at the Mellor Hall 7380 Trans Canada Hwy Duncan B.C. (Cowichan Exhibition Grounds). Contributions in memory of Brent Robert Harrison may be made to the Lake Cowichan Fire and Rescue Department, 3 N. Shore Road, Lake Cowichan B.C.
