Cor passed away peacefully with family by his side at Sunridge Place. Predeceased by his wife Mary in 2006. He is survived by his sons Mark (Carmel) and Len (Lisa), he also leaves behind grandchildren Mathieu, Halanna, Trevor, and Lynnea. Born in Holland, Cor emigrated to Canada in the early 1950’s. Shortly after, he met Mary and started their family in Edmonton AB. In 1966 Cor moved the family to Duncan, where he began his career as a respected building contractor. After retiring he enjoyed many years traveling, tending his vegetable and flower garden, reading, or just spending time with family and friends. Thanks to all those who cared for Cor during his final year both at CDH and Sunridge Place.
