Eric passed away suddenly on May 3rd at the age of 71. Born in Cape Town, South Africa, he went on to become an incredible musical director and composer who wrote many amazing pieces of music for television and film, for which he won numerous international awards. He also studied graphic art and was an accomplished designer, draughtsman and painter.
The king of a good braai, Eric was married to Sally for almost 37 years and along with their two children immigrated to Canada in 1995, eventually settling in the Cowichan Valley to enjoy his retirement. He had a great sense of humour and was always willing to help others.
Eric is survived by his wife Sally, his son Morgan, his daughter Amy, his son-in-law Matt and his adoring granddaughter Summer. He will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held on June 3rd, 2018 at 2 pm in the Crooks Hall at Brentwood College, Mill Bay.
