Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Cowichan District Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Burnaby, British Columbia on August 24, 1927, Ken was predeceased by his wife Mary, who was the centre of his universe, and by his brothers Maurice, Earle, Jim and Donald. He is fondly remembered by his family: his loving daughter Sandra and son-in-law Don Barnhardt, his grandchildren Duncan, Kieran and Zoe, and nieces and nephews, as well as by many caring friends and neighbours.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Harwood Reimer and to the nurses and staff of the Cowichan District Hospital for their invaluable support.
A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at St John’s Anglican Church, 3295 Cobble Hill Road, Cobble Hill, BC, on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:00 am.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Ken may be made to a charity of choice.
