Gerry was born in Regina, SK to parents Leonard and Gertrudis.
He was predeceased by his parents and one sister, Ricky Lawrence. During Gerry's life he loved the outdoors, and beautiful things. He was an artist, hunter, fisherman, gardener and avid golfer. It was his love of nature and golf that brought him and Adele to Vancouver Island to retire in Heaven on Earth. Arbutus Ridge became the retirement home dreamed about.
Gerry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Adele; their children and grandchildren: Michael (Summer), Sandra (Mike) Nogier, Darcy (Aubrey), Christopher, Nicholas, Katie Roe, Tyler and great granddaughter Abigail.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life or as Gerry put it 'a party' sometime in July when everyone can be at "The Ridge" to celebrate.
We will miss your thirst for knowledge and special sense of humour.
