Gordon Harker was born in Scotland on February 12, 1944 and passed away peacefully on October 27, 2020.
He is deeply loved and missed by his surviving wife Barbara, son James (Kellie), daughters Sarah (Steve) and Lara (Kellen), brother Edward (Evelyn) and predeceased by brothers David and Donald.
Gordon liked to tell stories from his memories. In each memory he shared there were big parts and little pieces of his past and his life.
Gordon worked for many years in the forest industry as a Log Scaler, became a joint business owner of Frontier Log Scaling on Vancouver Island.
He enjoyed bee keeping, gardening and woodworking creating many pieces of furniture in his spare time.
He retired in 2006 in Duncan B.C. and moved to Penticton B.C. in 2018.
Although he is no longer physically with us, he lives on each day in our memories, in the stories he told us and in everything he taught us.
