It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Greg due to complications of the flu.
Greg was born in Duncan, BC to Robert and Beulah Miller, the third of five children. Predeceased by his mother Beulah and brother-in-law Rick Wilkinson. He is survived by his wife Cindy, her children Christy (Will), Alisha and Brad and grandchildren Clayton, Kylee, Destany, J.J. Josh and Amanda. He leaves behind his father Robert, sister Anne (Doug), brothers Wayne (Kathy) and Gary (Kathy) and sister Dawn (Dom). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Greg had a great love and devotion to his family. He spent many happy days at lacrosse games with grandson Clayton and was a special papa to him and J.J. who lived with him. He had a love of music and taught guitar as well as playing in the Odyssey band. He loved to fish and go boating in the Dot.
An accomplished machinist by trade, Greg worked at Duncan Iron Works for more than 36 years.
A celebration of Greg’s life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Cowichan Golf and Country Club, 4955 Trans Canada Hwy., Duncan, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MS Society or a charity of your choice.
