It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandma: Georgina, Mom, Grandma, GG. Predeceased by her husband Bakhtawar (Joe), and son Joginder (Gindo). Georgina leaves behind her children Pudge (Laurel), Celia, Robin (Greg), sister Sarjit, nephew Mo (Scott), and granddaughters Jackie (Mandeep), Krista (Steve), Baylea, Emma, and great-grandson Levi Joe.
Georgina was born in Victoria, BC. She met her husband Joe in 1948, and selflessly devoted her life to raising their children and grandchildren. We will cherish Georgina’s generosity, charm, and her ability to touch everyone she met. Georgina will never be summed up in one paragraph, because in our eyes, she is larger than life.
At Georgina’s request, a private family service will be held mid-week. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Georgina’s memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Condolences may be offered online at www.sandsduncan.ca
