It is with sadness that the family of Jerry Jacobson announce his death, on July 8, 2020 in Duncan, BC.
Jerry was born in Chemainus, BC on May 29, 1962. As a young man, Jerry went to work at the Crofton Pulp and Paper Mill where his grandfathers and father also worked, and remained there until 2010. Over the years, Jerry enjoyed camping, fishing, sports, and playing the guitar. Jerry had many struggles in his life, some of which unfortunately estranged him from his family over the last number of years.
Jerry is predeceased by grandparents: Holger and Merri Jacobson, Ralph and Ruth Lesage; mother, Lorraine Lesage, and brother, Dax Elliott. Jerry is survived by his father, Hokan Jacobson (Rae); sons: Brett, Ryan, and Jesse Jacobson (their mother Dianne); siblings: Lisa, Jeffrey, Caryn; and niece, Allyssa Jacobson. A Memorial Service was held at Sands Funeral Chapel Duncan followed with inurnment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. If anyone so wishes, memorial donations in Jerry's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
