It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father Larry Jorginson on April 6, 2020 at the age of 75. Larry is preceded in death by his mother Christine, father Lawrence, and brother Glenn.
Over the past year, Larry fought hard against his battle with cancer. Unfortunately, Larry lost his battle and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his spouse and children.
Larry was born in Selkirk, Mb and moved to Thompson, Mb in 1967 where he worked for 30 years at INCO Ltd. During his spare time, Larry operated a successful real estate company for many years. He moved to Victoria, BC in 1999, and made Shawnigan Lake, BC his home for his remaining 14 years. Larry will be remembered for his witty humor, his passion for local politics, his love of classic cars, and his kind spirit.
Larry is survived by his spouse Millie; former wife Kathy; children Deborah (Jason), Patrick, Laurel (Christian); grandchildren Vanessa, Isabella, Annika and Camilla; nephews Robert (Tarla) and Edward.
We would like to thank Dr. Masuda, Dr. Lowo and Dr. W. Nielsen for the care and support they provided throughout his illness. Thank you Jordy, (Palliative Nursing Care) for the care and compassion you provided.
At his request, a celebration of life will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the BC Cancer Foundation.
