Mary Louise Wheeler, a long time resident of Chemainus, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2018 at the age of 75. Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Larry; her children: Vern (Linda), Pam (Steve) and grandchildren: Joshua and Jazmin. She enjoyed baking, bowling, painting, going out on walks, gardening, but above all, her family. She was born in Calgary on June 18th 1943 and moved with her family to Chemainus at the age of three. She spent many years as a waitress in numerous restaurants in the Cowichan Valley. In memory of Mary Lou's passing, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes would be greatly appreciated. Condolences may be offered online at www.sandsduncan.ca.
