1932 ~ 2017
Passed away peacefully at
home amongst his beloved
wife and granddaughter and
now resides someplace over
the rainbow. He reached
85 years of a fulfilling
adventurous and loving life.
He was born in Fort Frances,
Ontario in 1932 and was the
only son to Peter and Elsie
Shelepiuk of Thunder Bay,
Ontario. At a young age, his
interest in the Theatre and the Performing Arts
led him to dance, sing, act, paint and play the
piano around the world. Wherever he went he
would spread laughter and joy for his audience.
On April 20, 1997 he married Barbara, his
beautiful wife that he met under a rainbow
of hope and they retired to live peacefully in
Duncan, BC. He is survived by his wife Barbara,
daughter Danuta and grandchildren Michael and
Bianka. His legacy of charity continued well
into his last years, he helped to distribute bread
to the less fortunate and volunteered tirelessly
with charities around Duncan. His unconditional
love for strangers carries on in all the hundreds
of hearts he has touched. A Funeral Service will
be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 1:30 pm at
St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 5800 Church Road
in Duncan. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s
Cemetery. After the interment, a reception will
be held in the church hall. Condolences may be

Peter’s message to the world always was
