November 18, 1955 - June 13, 2019
On June 13th, 2019, the last sweet note left the harmonica and took Rick Woollam with it. Lover of life, fun and the sun; a masterful story-teller, musician and gardener, Rick said goodbye far too soon for all of us. Sharp tongued with an equally large heart Rick lived every day like it was his last and extracted everything out of his life that there was to offer. No party too small, no stage too big, no hour of the night too late - Rick loved to socialize. At one time or another we were all too daft or all too kind in those big blue eyes of his, sometimes in the same sentence. You came to visit us on your bike or your boat or in your truck and always brought music, probably beer and a laugh. Sometimes you were Rick, sometimes Buckeye but either way, your legacy lives on in the form of our cherished memories and the glow of that big heart Sunshine Boy. Abrazos, amor, adios, HULLYWA! A celebration of life will be held August 24th in Maple Bay.
