Crackdown shows need for regular patrols

As another means to an end, I would recommend that regular patrols are carried out

After [the Malahat] performance by our “red coats” nabbing all those drivers, does this not give concern about the manner in which our highways are used for an opportunity to show how much the drivers of B.C. are flouting the rules of the road, plus the public kitty gets a shot in the arm?

As another means to an end, I would recommend that regular patrols are carried out, at the times of high traffic volume use, one car going back to Langford the other patrol car returning to Duncan, or some such system. It is amazing what the sight of a patrol car can do to the psyche when the flag is shown. Calm down, life is too short trying to beat the other guy to work each day. One other question, will those who have been nabbed be directed to attend a driving course, to help them to curb the “pedal to the metal” syndrome?
